The National Automotive Finance Association (NAF) announced last week the graduating class of its Spring 2016 Consumer Credit Compliance Certification Program (CCCCP). Geoff Pope, director of compliance and technology for Millennium Capital and Recovery Corporation (Millennium), was in this year’s class.
What makes this noteworthy is that Millennium is the only national recovery firm (“national forwarder”) who has a staff member that has completed the rigorous NAF certification program. What’s more, this is Millennium’s second staff member to complete the comprehensive certification.
The NAF’s compliance education program has set the standard for the auto financing industry. The program was created to help consumer finance companies and other stakeholders to tackle the increasingly difficult challenge of complying with federal and state regulatory requirements and state consumer credit laws. The curriculum was developed by Hudson Cook, LLP.
Jeffrey Marsh, Millennium’s Chief Business Development Officer said of Pope’s achievement, “Millennium is proud of Geoff’s dedication to excellence in compliance. Millennium is committed to being at the forefront of the industry and makes continuing investments to add value to our clients.”
